Three Louisville man are facing federal charges for a series of armed business robberies. Antonio Mitchell, Vontre Murphy and Dajohn Roberts were indicted by a federal grand jury on 13 counts.

A Danville man is in custody after police say he shot his wife to death Tuesday night during a domestic dispute. Colin Montgomery, 29, is charged with murder in the death of 27-year-old Jennifer Montgomery. Kentucky State Police were called just after 8 p.m. to a residence on Shakertown Road north of Danville.

A man accused of shooting his son was apprehended after being on the run since Monday. Sheriff's officials say Gilbert "Tick" Helton, 56, of Kettle Island, was arrested at his residence on Kettle Island Branch Road. The shooting occurred around 8:34 p.m. Monday.
