Sigh. Naturally, as soon as I sign off, police surround a vehicle at Broadway and 4th, make some kind of traffic stop. Unclear if person is actually arrested. Unclear whether person is protest-related, or just the unluckiest tourist of all time

@loukyfire worked a 2 alarm fire in the 500 block of S. 3rd Street overnight. 70 firefighters needed 30 mins to control the blaze in the 4-story building.

Wednesday evening a protester threw a firework into a fire near the Hall of Justice
From an @LMPD spox: "Marchers progressed along the waterfront and through downtown, causing damage at various locations along the way – including TARC buses at Brook Street and tossing a flare into the Main Library breaking windows and attempting to start a fire." 24 arrested
